TERMS OF SERVICE

BOOKINGS: To secure a date and scheduled makeup time, a non-refundable deposit and online reservation are required. All clients must have a card on file. In the event that the contracted makeup artist is unable to perform the services agreed upon due to an emergency, illness, or unexpected occurrence, a trusted substitute makeup artist will be referred.

SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS: If travel has been agreed upon, a large, clean table and AMPLE work space MUST be made available. Absolutely no animals, small children, or pets of any kind are allowed in the service area. Lighting and seating will be provided. If service location is deemed unsafe and/ or unhygienic, service may be refused.

DAMAGED/ LOST/ STOLEN PROPERTY: If while performing a service, the property of CocoTea Makeup Artistry LLC is damaged, lost, stolen, or destroyed while in client possession or usage, the client is responsible for full reimbursement or replacement of the exact item. An invoice will be provided and the card on file will be charged. Failure to rectify property damages will result in legal action.

TRAVEL FEE: Locations within Baltimore, MD will be charged a travel fee of $75. Tolls, valet, and/or parking garage fees are an additional cost.

For locations outside of Baltimore –yet within Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, or Virginia, the party responsible is subject to pay $3.00 PER mile from my Salon Suite located at 66 Painters Mill Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117.

Hotel accommodations are required (in addition to the travel fee) if there is an early call time at a location 30+ miles from 21117 at or before 7:00am

LIABILITY: All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary. Used brushes and sponges are stored separately after use to ensure cleanliness. All products are re-sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition or allergy should be reported by the client prior to application, and if needed a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test for reaction.


PAYMENT: Final balances are paid at the conclusion of your service via cash or credit/ debit card. Electronic cards are stored on file for future services and purchases.

FORCE MAJEURE OR ACT OF GOD: A party shall NOT be deemed in breach of this contract under the agreement that performance is prevented or delayed as the result of: Act of God (death or life-threatening injury), act of public enemy, natural disaster (fire, earthquake, flood, etc.), embargo, war, civil disturbance (riot, strike, etc.), decrees of court, tribunal, government, or governmental authority (pandemic regulations, sanctions, etc.).

In such event, deposits and retainers are non-refundable, yet cancellation fees are waived. If the event is rescheduled for a future date, deposits /retainer fees are applied to the new date and service terms will resume. CocoTea Makeup Artistry LLC will not be liable to the client(s) and/ or any further person in respect of any loss/ damage whatsoever.
